Between Humidity and Humility there must be a balance...

Does anyone get angry at you when you have your feet up at work, but no one's really there, and no one's calling in?

Isn't that like the asking "if a tree falls in the woods and hits a mime, does anyone care?"
Rhetorics. you have to love 'em.

Alright, admittedly, my title will likely have nothing to do with what I have to say here. That thought came to mind somewhere between my zoning out, and reading articles about the Pistons win last night. I figure it'll make a great sermon topic someday....for someone that gives sermons. And last I checked, that's not me.

The good news is that Melissa just called me to tell me that the apartment is officially below 35% humidity! Um....I think that's good news. I honestly don't know. I read that if it gets too dry, electronics start having problems. I thought electronics....didn't like....water?

So what's the solution to that? Pooring water over my stereo's receiver? or over the cables figuring they'll act like roots? I got nothing.

A note to my Pistons....

Dear Pistons,

I know I haven't been there for you this season.
Last year we were so close, and I came to see you play on your palace vision with my friend Joe, and since then, yes, we've fallen apart.

I've moved further from you it seems, and grown more distant, but don't let that dissaude you from your goal! Pistons, know that I'm still here, I'm still watching, just on Basement-Vision, in Brampton, only 2 hours away.

Keep fightin

Shaggy - A true story of a Bramptonite

True story here folks. I don't hold back the truth, or condense it. Here's the balk of it all right now.

I live.....in brampton.
In a basement.
A moist basement. It's important for you to know that it's not wet. If it was, I could clean that. I could get new stuff or whatever and that would be fine. Moist is different.

I have a dryer, you see, that simply pumps hot steamy air back into itself, and then out to my living area. You can put your hand on the wall, and it's wet.

So I have a dehumidifier. It's pretty sizable too. When the dryer isn't running, I can be down around 40% humidity. When it is on though....It's about 80% and possibly more! The dehumidifier only measures up to 80!!!

Anyways, my TV, stereo and playstation are installed, so all is well. I'm hoping to have everything kicking along nice and dry by the end of the weekend.

The long weekend. Which I'm working. Every day. My long weekend was this last thursday and next tues/wed.

I'm confused. Then I work for 2 days and break for another 2.
*scratching my head*

Oh, and I have to work in Bloor those days. Made more difficult considering the fact that if I were to be driving my civic right now, I'd be doing it with a good piece of taxi cab that's firmly lodged into my trunk.

First full day of work in Brampton, first day driving home, which is only 10 minutes away, and a cabbie smacks me in the tail end while I'm stopped and he's going 40 km/hr or so.

The whiplash hurt so bad I think my head is still trying to fly out the window.

But truth be told about all of it. I love it. Not the car part, but everything else. I'm pretty pleased. I know how to complain with the best of 'em, but alls said and done, I'm ok. Might have something to do with a girl named Melissa :D

Well, hoping to write more frequently. Until then, Best regards, and God Bless.
